Minimum Admission Requirements
• Academic Performance: Applicants must achieve a minimum of Grade A or B in core subjects. For those applying to the Dentistry program, at least a Grade C is required in one subject.
• IGCSE/GCSE O Levels (Minimum 7 Subjects): The University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST) welcome students with O-level qualifications from IGCSE or GCSE, with a minimum of seven subjects completed. A-level qualifications are strongly preferred, and qualifications from Sudanese and Arabic educational systems are also accepted.
• English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate a strong command of the English language.
• Other Qualifications: For candidates with American, Cambridge, Pearson, ACE, or other advanced high school certificates, at least two principal passes in core subjects like Biology and Chemistry are required. Advanced high school certifications are highly desirable.
